164 chess players from 13 countries are taking part in the Third International Tournament “Sahibkiran Cup 2023”, in Tashkent.

The participants, divided into groups A and B according to the results of the rating, will compete in 9 rounds. Following the sixth round, Alisher Suleymenov from Kazakhstan leads in Group A with 5 points out of 6 possible. The next places were taken by Muhammadzohid Suyarov (Uzbekistan), Daniel Friedman (Germany), Olmos Rakhmatullayev (Uzbekistan), Platon Galperin (Ukraine), Vitaly Sivuk (Sweden). In Group B, Jurabek Ibodullayev, Muhammadrahim Abdullayev, Marsel Shoysupov have 5.5 points each.

The winners will be announced on April 20.
