The opening ceremony of the World Boxing Championships was held in Tashkent’s “Humo Arena” sports complex.

The event was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, President of the International Boxing Association (IBA) Umar Kremlev, Minister for Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Adkham Ikramov, and others.

The championships will run until May 14.
