Photo report from the “Hisor” State Reserve
Located in the mountainous areas of Kashkadarya region, the “Hisor” State Reserve is not only a sanctuary for nature conservation, but also a place where scientific research and dedicated work converge.
At the “Hisor” State Reserve, scientists conduct in-depth studies during the winter, examining animals’ feeding patterns, migration routes, and habitats. New plant species are discovered, enriching the national herbarium collection.
The “Hisor” State Reserve is not only an invaluable treasure of Uzbekistan, but of the entire Central Asian region. Preserving it and passing it on to future generations is our shared responsibility. In this place, where winter stillness prevails, a beautiful example of harmony between nature and humanity is revealed.
