Tashkent House of Photography hosted a photo exhibition of works by young people with hearing impairments. The exhibition presents more than 100 photographs.

Visual and photographic art are among the areas that will allow people with hearing impairments to find their place in the creative field, as well as integrate into society. Photography gives such people the opportunity to express their inner feelings through images.

Since 2021, a cultural figure, photographer Husniddin Ato, a member of the section of photo artists of the Creative Union of Artists of Uzbekistan, has been a “guide” to the world of photography art for people with hearing impairments. 

The exhibition is organized with the support of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan to demonstrate to the public the abilities and achievements of people with hearing impairments. Its holding will undoubtedly serve to further expand the ranks of photographers of Uzbekistan, as well as attract hearing-impaired youth living in various regions of Uzbekistan to engage in photography and fine arts.
