On August 14-20 this year, UzA employees participated in a workshop organized by the TASS Russian News Agency for news agencies’ photojournalists of the CIS countries.

The workshop began with an introduction to the TASS News Agency and Photo Editorial Office activity. It continued with training and practical exercises conducted by experienced photographers and videographers. Particular aspects of photographing official events, sports photojournalism, video recording of news, and photo reports were prepared and discussed within the lectures on complex situations that arise in the process.

The participants got acquainted with many important innovations in their professional activities at the workshop. Especially in today’s information age, news about creative innovations, modern methods, and approaches observed in photojournalism was interesting for everyone.
