The People’s Bank began its activity in 1875 in Tashkent as a primary savings bank.

Now 196 branches, 106 banking service centers, and more than 2,200 cash desks are operating in the country. Only in Bukhara region, there are 11 branches and 9 banking service centers. More than 640 bank employees provide financial and consulting services to the population and business entities.

This year, the total balance of deposits amounted to 1.8 trillion UZS, the balance of deposits of the population – 261 million UZS.

“The balance of credit investments amounted to 1.6 trillion UZS”, says Nargiza Latipova, Deputy Head of Bukhara regional branch of the People’s Bank for Supporting Women and Family Entrepreneurship. – In the first quarter, 3,534 people received preferential loans under the Family Business Development Program.

The Bank promptly provides the population with pensions, material assistance and child benefits. 178 projects contribute to the employment of the population. Bank employees are actively working with the population, explaining the rules and procedures for granting loans.
