By the corresponding order of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, patronage over 302 secondary schools of Tashkent has been established. At the same time, heads of local government bodies and their deputies are assigned to 119 schools, sector leaders to 815 schools.

The assigned heads of ministries and agencies, local state bodies, as well as their deputies, sector leaders will attend schools every month. They will get acquainted with the activities and problems of education institutions, conduct such open lessons as “Ministerial Hour”, “Khokim Hour”, “Lessons from Entrepreneurs and Bankers”, “Lessons of Life”.

Activities on the overhaul, reconstruction of buildings (branches) of secondary schools, improvement of adjacent territories, maintaining the infrastructure in good condition will be taken under control.

Leaders attached to certain education institutions will assist in development of the material and technical base of schools, their equipping, replenishment of libraries with new literature, uninterrupted supply of education institutions with electricity, natural gas, drinking water, and the creation of sanitary and hygienic conditions.
