A Ministry of Digital Technologies delegation led by Minister Sherzod Shermatov met with Oracle Executive Vice President Simon de Montfort Walker and Senior Vice President Cherian Varghese.

At the meeting, discussions focused on expanding Oracle’s presence in Central Asia and exploring potential areas of cooperation in cloud technologies. 

The delegation highlighted Uzbekistan’s key advantages for technology companies, including a favorable business climate, government support for the IT sector, a well-developed digital infrastructure, and a strong pool of qualified professionals.

Special attention was given to training specialists in data science and cloud technologies. Additionally, the high proficiency of IT experts in foreign languages further enhances Uzbekistan’s attractiveness and competitiveness for international companies. 

Oracle representatives expressed strong interest in exploring market opportunities in Uzbekistan, particularly in the cloud infrastructure and applications.
