Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Ecology and Environmental Protection, Narzullo Oblomuradov, took part in the briefing within the framework of the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States.

According to Mr. Oblomuradov, the nationwide project “Yashil Makon” (Green Space), held in Uzbekistan on the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is also put forward as an initiative at the level of the Organization of Turkic States.

On November 11, within the framework of the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, it is planned to plant seedlings on Registan Square with the participation of the heads of member states of the organization and with the status of an observer. Also, seedling-planting events will be held simultaneously in the capitals of Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary and Turkmenistan. In particular, the planting of 111,111 seedlings is scheduled for November 11 in Azerbaijan.
