Uzbekistan hosts the Eighth International Cultural and Educational Forum of the CIS Member States “Children of the Commonwealth”.
It is attended by over a hundred students and their mentors from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
Within the framework of the forum, the participants visited the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

At a meeting with members of the Parliament, the Chairperson of the Senate Tanzila Narbayeva welcomed young guests and noted that it was gratifying that such an important international forum was organized in Uzbekistan.

During the dialogue, the forum participants received answers to their questions from senators concerning youth employment, solving environmental problems, preserving traditions and values in the current period of globalization, working with appeals from citizens of the country to the Senate, further strengthening parliamentary ties between the countries.
The forum participants also got acquainted with the activities of the Upper Chamber of the Parliament of Uzbekistan and changes in legislation. Along with this, the guests visited the sights of the capital, particularly Navruz Ethnographic Park.
