Uzbekistan’s tourism potential was presented on August 11-13 at the Korea International Tourism Show – KITS 2023.

The national stand of Uzbekistan was organized by the Embassy. Photographs were presented that reflect the tourism potential of the country, handicrafts, such as jewelry, wood carving, silk clothes and fabrics, and other examples of folk art.

The guests of the exhibition got acquainted with the tourist routes of Uzbekistan, the ancient history and culture of such cities as Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, included in the UNESCO cultural heritage list, the large-scale work carried out by the government to create a modern tourism infrastructure.

Along with this, within the framework of the international exhibition, meetings, and negotiations were held with South Korean tour operators on the implementation of joint tours, as well as the conditions for participation in the Tashkent International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road” on November 15-17.

Visitors to the Uzbek stand highly appreciated the country’s tourism potential and shared their impressions.
