Participants of the Global Forum on Human Rights Education to be held in Samarkand on December 5-6 are arriving in Uzbekistan.

On 3 December 2022, Director of the National Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights Akmal Saidov met Rein Müllerson, Professor Emeritus of the School of Governance, Law and Society of Tallinn University (Estonia), at Tashkent International Airport.

Professor Rein Müllerson is one of Uzbekistan’s longtime partners. In 2022, he was awarded the “For the Protection of Human Rights” badge (Uzbekistan) for effective international cooperation in scientific and educational work on human rights.

Professor Rein Müllerson is expected to give a lecture at the master classes on human rights education.
