From January 1, 2022, to January 1, 2023, part of the costs of tourism entities and air carriers for organizing charter flights from foreign countries to Uzbekistan is compensated from the state budget.

According to Norma.uz, on January 15, the President adopted a decree “On the creation of additional conditions for further development of tourism, culture, cultural heritage and sports”.

According to the document, compensation is provided for 10 USD, and during the winter season (from November 20 to February 20) – in the amount of 25 USD for each foreign tourist, subject to the duration of his stay in Uzbekistan for at least five nights.
