The teams from the United States, China, Australia, France, the United Kingdom, and South Korea are leading in the medal standings.

The Americans are in 1st place with 24 gold, 31 silver, and 31 bronze medals – a total of 86 medals. They are followed by representatives of China with 22 gold, 21 silver and 16 bronze – a total of 53 medals. The Australian team is in third place with 14 gold, 12 silver and 9 bronze – a total of 35 medals.

The Olympic hosts are in 4th place with 13 gold, 16 silver, and 19 bronze medals.

The Uzbekistan team, with 1 gold and 2 bronze medals, is in 38th place.

Considering that three Uzbekistan boxers reached the final and two are on the eve of the semi-final, the total number of medals won by Uzbekistan Olympians will soon reach 8.
