Paris 2024: 8 of Uzbekistan’s para-athletes will participate in the competition today
The 17th Summer Paralympic Games continue in Paris. Following the five days of championships, the Paralympians of Uzbekistan have 6 gold, 4 silver, and 4 bronze medals, and among 182 participating countries, they occupy 9th place in the overall team standings.
Today, September 3, on the sixth day of the Paralympic Games, competitions will be held in 13 sports. Athletes will compete for 61 sets of medals in 7 sports.
At today’s competition, 6 members of the Uzbekistan national team will enter the fight for medals. Uzbekistan’s courageous athletes will participate in Paralympic athletics and swimming competitions.

In the javelin throw program, the honor of the country will be defended by Natalia Semenova, in the 400-meter run – Izzat Turgunov, in various directions of Paralympic swimming – Firdavsbek Musabekov, Muzaffar Tursunkhujayev, Dmitry Khorlin, Shokhsanam Toshpulatova.
