The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, is currently participating in the 22nd Meeting of Ministers of Culture of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states, which is being held in China.

The Minister of Culture met with around 100 young Uzbeks who live, study, and work in China.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Director of the Youth Affairs Agency Abdulaziz Muminov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the People’s Republic of China, Farhod Arziyev.

At the meeting with the Minister, young people studying at Chinese universities proposed to actively promote the culture, customs, national traditions, gastronomic potential, and history of Uzbekistan among the local population.
