On April 3, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Uzbekistan Leonid Marinich.

During the conversation, the parties welcomed the active cooperation between the two countries in culture, noted the successful holding of the Uzbekistan Culture Days in Belarus in 2023, discussed prospects for further enhancing cooperation in culture, art, cinematography, theatrical art, and dwelled on plans to hold Belarus Culture Days in Uzbekistan in 2025.

In addition, according to the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Uzbekistan, Ambassador Leonid Marinich informed about the International Art Festival “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk” to be held in Belarus in July 2024, within the framework of which the Day of National Cultures of the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is planned.
