The 43rd General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) began its work in Bangkok.

First, the current head of the OCA, Raja Randhir Singh, welcomed all the delegates and introduced the agenda items.

The Assembly began with an address from the President of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, to the OCA family.

Then, officials who have contributed to developing the Olympic movement on our continent over many years were awarded the OCA’s most prestigious award – the Order “For Great Merit”.

One of these awards was solemnly presented to the Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Oybek Qosimov.
