The head of the Press Service of the Agency for Quarantine and Plant Protection, Sabina Sadinova, announced this at a briefing at AIMC.

As noted, this year’s forecast indicators for exports of agricultural and food products are $3.5 billion, of which $2.5 billion are fruits and vegetables and $950 million are food products. More than 776 thousand tons of fruits and vegetables worth $462.2 million have already been exported.

The activities of the established Central Export Headquarters and 14 regional headquarters were also discussed at the briefing. Their main tasks are to provide maximum information and practical assistance to exporting enterprises in resolving problematic issues, demonstrating the country’s export potential, and increasing export volumes. Specialists conduct regular dialogues with foreign representative offices, help organize B2B meetings, fairs and showrooms, and participation of our exporters in exhibitions.
