The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan held its regular meeting.

The participants discussed issues of approval of the Regulation on the procedure for providing interactive services for determining and changing a polling station, accrediting media representatives and holding elections for members of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan to fill vacant seats in Tashkent region.

At the meeting, 48 ​​representatives of local and the same number of representatives of foreign media were registered. The number of accredited local media representatives has exceeded 750 people.

A decision was taken to hold a joint meeting on the election of members of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the vacant seats of deputies of the representative bodies of state power of Tashkent region on August 24, 2021, at 11:00 at Tashkent State Agrarian University, located at Kibray district, st. University 2.
