17:30 / 2024-03-15

The number of IT Park residents is constantly growing. If in January 2024, 75 companies received this status, then in February – 134. The total number of resident companies by the end of February 2024 was 1828.

According to IT Park, educational companies predominate among newcomers (49), which reflects the high demand for IT training and personnel development. Other companies engaged in software development (29) and providing services (28) also predominate. The share of BPO companies among new IT Park residents remains stable. 21 such companies were added in February.

It is noteworthy that 49 new resident companies are export-oriented, and 24 were created with the participation of foreign capital. Although most new residents are representatives of Uzbekistan, the geography of foreign companies is impressive: Russia, the United States, South Korea, Germany, the United Kingdom, India, Cyprus, Egypt, Pakistan, and Tajikistan.

In total, 464 foreign companies are residents of IT Park today. 41 of them have joined since the beginning of 2024. Among them are Silkroad Software, with the participation of American capital, which provides services for the development and technical support of software products, and Voltiva, which was nominated for the mGovAward competition.

At the end of December 2023, new activities were approved for companies already registered. Among the new February residents are Plug and Play, which provides services under the acceleration program and the AloqaVentures fund.

In addition, the DIP Animation Studio, which specializes in developing animation products, became a resident. It is the author of the cartoon Pomidor Do’ppi (Tomato Skull-Cap), which is broadcast on the Milliy TV channel.
