In 2021, foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan most of all to meet with relatives – 1613.1 thousand people (85.7 percent).

According to the State Statistics Committee, the purpose of the trip was also called: study – 6.4 thousand people (0.4 percent), commercial – 13.7 thousand people (0.7 percent), treatment – 32.4 thousand people (1.7 percent), service – 60.7 thousand people (3.2 percent), recreation and leisure – 155.1 thousand people (8.3 percent).
