According to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, the coverage of preschool education increased by 6.1 percent. In addition, the National Curriculum of Public Education was developed and the electronic platform “Continuous Professional Development” was launched. The share of high and first-category teachers increased from 16.6 to 22.3 percent.

In 2021, thanks to the opening of 25 new universities, the number of higher education institutions in Uzbekistan reached 106. The coverage of universities and institutes amounted to 28 percent. As part of the grant programs of El-Yurt Umidi Foundation, 1,345 professors and teachers have been trained in educational centers of Europe, America, Asia and CIS countries.
