Our Judokas among the Top Five in France
Our compatriot Shahzod Sabirov won a gold medal at the recent International judo tournament of the Grand Slam series, held in Paris, France.
Our compatriot Shahzod Sabirov won a gold medal at the recent International judo tournament of the Grand Slam series, held in Paris, France.More than 400 judokas from over 80 countries participated in tournament. Shahzod Sabirov competed with Jaromir Musil (The Czech Republic), Shzabolc Krijan (Hungary), Frank De Wit (Holland), and Uuganbaatar Otgonbaatar (Mongolia). Our judoka defeated Sergey Ryabov from Russia in the final and took the highest step of the podium.
Our compatriot Sharofiddin Lutfullaev by winning Sergio Pessoa (Canada), Bakir Ozlu (Turkey), Eric Takabatake (Brazil) and Ludovic Chammartin (SUI) awarded a bronze medal.
Our athletes, by winning one gold and one bronze medal, got into the top five in the team event.
