Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov took part in an Extraordinary Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), via videoconference.

The current situation in Kazakhstan was discussed by the heads of foreign ministries of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Hungary and Turkmenistan. They noted the firm support and solidarity of the members of the organization with the people and government of Kazakhstan and expressed confidence in the restoration of peace and stability in the country in the near future.

Following the meeting, a Joint Statement was adopted.
