Deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan met with the deputy of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Osman Mesten.

Osman Mesten noted that the elections were held in accordance with the Constitution of Uzbekistan and international electoral standards, based on the Election Code.

Relations between Uzbekistan and Turkey are developing in a bilateral and multilateral direction. Inter-parliamentary, inter-ministerial, inter-departmental and inter-regional ties are becoming regular.

The great importance of activities of the inter-parliamentary friendship group “Uzbekistan – Turkey”, the work carried out in the socio-political, economic and other spheres was noted. The participants of the meeting paid special attention to strengthening cooperation, exchange of experience.
