OSCE/ODIHR Needs Assessment Mission experts led by Alexey Gromov, OSCE/ODIHR Senior Election Adviser, have met with representatives of the Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Adolat”.

The parties discussed issues of national electoral legislation, awareness of the population of this political event, preparatory work of the party for the elections, financing in this direction, the procedure for working with media, organizational issues of the outreach activities.

Officials of the Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Adolat” informed the experts about the activities of the party, the implementation of the Pre-Election program, work with the electorate and observance of gender equality in the composition of deputies.

The mission experts approved the changes made to the national electoral legislation.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the dialogue and agreed on the conditions for further effective development of cooperation.
