Open dialogue with young people in Ohangaron
In Ohangaron District of Tashkent Region, an open dialogue has been held with young people with limited abilities who are in need of social protection.
In Ohangaron District of Tashkent Region, an open dialogue has been held with young people with limited abilities who are in need of social protection.The event was arranged by the Uzbekistan women’s committee in partnership with the central council of the Uzbekistan youth union.
The event was attended by specialists of the health care and justice spheres, young people of the towns of Angren and Olmaliq and their parents.
During the event, young people’s problems, proposals and wishes were studied, and there was an exchange of opinions on ways of solving these locally.
As part of the implementation of a decision taken at a gathering of the republican interdepartmental council for youth issues on 5 July 2017, information was given about the creation of a centre for children and young people with limited abilities and about its tasks.
“Together with partner organizations, open dialogues have been held with young people with limited abilities who are in need of social protection in Pskent, Parkent and Yangiyol Districts too. A working group has been formed for the finding of jobs for young people, for the allocation of privileged credits for them to start entrepreneurial activity, for the provision of comprehensive support for their health improvement, for the studying of their problems and for the provision of practical help for them,” says the chairman of the Tashkent Regional council of the Uzbekistan youth union, D.Karimov.
