On September 18-26, concert programs of the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan “OPEN AIR. Silk road symphony” will be held in various regions of Uzbekistan.

The National Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1937. In the course of its creative activity, the orchestra performed concerts in front of large audiences. It received a standing ovation in the academic halls, at concert venues from ordinary art fans, labor collectives and rural residents. The repertoire of the orchestra includes almost all symphonic music based on the works of Uzbek and world composers.

The orchestra performs works of such musical geniuses as Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Mahler, Dvorak, Liszt, Tchaikovsky, Glinka, Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Britten, Sviridov, Schnittke.

The concert program “OPEN AIR. Silk road symphony” will be held on September 18 in the city of Gulistan, on September 20 in Jizzakh, on September 22 in Samarkand, on September 24 in Navoi, on September 26 in Bukhara.
