Hokim of Tashkent region Zoyir Mirzayev held virtual talks with the Mayor of Chongqing, Hu Henghua.

At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, a state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to China is expected on May 17-18. Several issues were discussed before the visit. Talks were held to strengthen partnerships further.

At the meeting, Zoyir Mirzayev suggested organizing the Chongqing Technopark in Tashkent region and implementing a joint copper processing project. The readiness of the Tashkent region to implement these projects and interest in cooperation with Chinese investors were expressed.
