OneWeb is implementing major projects in many countries, including Uzbekistan.

This issue was discussed by the Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications Sherzod Shermatov, Marketing Director of OneWeb Ivan Zaitsev and representatives of the Space Research and Technology Agency.

On May 16, Space Research and Technology Agency and OneWeb signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation. The main goal was the company’s entry into Uzbekistan, as well as several measures related to the company’s services for non-geostationary satellite communication systems, including regulation, discussion and determination of the basic needs of the state in the use of OneWeb satellites.

The company offers high-speed broadband Internet via One Web satellites. The sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
