The Ministry of Economy and Finance, in partnership with UNDP in Uzbekistan, organized workshops to analyze the current tax regime and identify areas for improvement in accordance with SDGs.

An international expert on taxation was invited within the framework of the Tax for SDGs initiative, Hafiz Choudhury.

These activities will help to mobilize domestic resources and increase the potential for tax collection and revenue for financing the SDGs in Uzbekistan.
