Prime Minister of Japan Shinzо Abe is to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on 24-26 October 2015 on the invitation of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

A wide range of issues on Uzbek-Japanese agenda, problems of regional and international politics are expected to be discussed during the meeting and negotiations on the highest level.

The parties are to adopt a Joint declaration, sign a substantial package of intergovernmental, interagency and other documents, aimed at further deepening of cooperation in trade, economic, investment, financial, technical and cultural-humanitarian areas following the visit.
