Presidential candidate Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the meeting with voters of Tashkent region proposed to start a new industrial policy of the country from Tashkent region.

Large enterprises equipped with the most modern equipment will be organized based on the available natural resources. In industrial zones, the production of the most popular and competitive products will be established. In interconnected industries, it will be necessary to organize industrial clusters that would cover science, innovation, and engineering. For all industries, it is necessary to establish a system of training and selection of qualified personnel with modern knowledge and skills.

“Over the next five years, eight thousand large, medium and small investment projects for 20 billion UZS will be implemented in the region”, says presidential candidate Shavkat Mirziyoyev. – More than 180 thousand permanent jobs will be created through our efforts.

The presidential candidate in his pre-election program also dwelled on the issue of transforming the cities of Olmaliq, Chirchiq, Angren, Bekabad, Akhangaran and Yangiyul into key cities of industry. Enterprises of large copper clusters are being organized in Olmaliq, Angren and Akhangaran. A large industrial zone will be built in Angren on an area of ​​160 hectares. 

The volume of production in the organized clusters and the share in the country’s GDP will increase.
