About 180 thousand people have passed the quarantine period.

Head of the State Inspection of Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chief State Sanitary Inspector of the country Nurmat Otabekov notes:

– The number of coronavirus infected in Uzbekistan has reached 534 people. According to the Scientific Research Institute of Virology, 25 patients out of 98 treated at the Institute's clinic have signs of pneumonia and condition of seven people is assessed as serious. 3 patients’ condition out of 69 being treated at the Scientific Research Institute of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases is assessed as serious.

Quarantine measures continue in Uzbekistan. About 180 thousand people have passed the quarantine period and were allowed to go home due to non-confirmation of the disease. More than 86 thousand of our citizens are quarantined at home and in hospital. More than 23 thousand citizens are quarantined in hospitals.

More than 5,800 tests for coronavirus infection were conducted in one day. As a result, 0.87 percent of patients were diagnosed with the disease.
