Official statement: Situation in the world related to coronavirus remains unsatisfactory
As of 9:00 March 18, 2020, the number of registered cases of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan has reached 13.
According to the Head of the State Inspection of Sanitary-Epidemiological Supervision under the Cabinet of Ministers, Chief Sanitary Inspector of Uzbekistan Nurmat Otabekov, as of 9:00 March 18, 2020, the number of registered cases of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan has reached 13.
Quarantine measures are carried out with citizens who have arrived from countries with a problematic epidemic situation. So far, more than 8,200 people in Uzbekistan have been quarantined. Disease was not found in 5900 patients during the quarantine period, they were allowed to go home.
Currently, 2,300 people in the country are under quarantine. Measures are continuing to return citizens of Uzbekistan by charter flights.
Quarantine measures are implemented, restrictions are imposed, and the spread of coronavirus infection is not allowed.
