Official Statement: 602 active cases in Uzbekistan
39 cases were detected among the population yesterday.
Head of the State Inspection of Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance under the Cabinet of Ministers, Chief State Sanitary Inspector of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nurmat Otabekov:
– 3180 cases of coronavirus infected have been registered in the country. According to the Ministry of Health, 2565 (81 percent) people have fully recovered to date. 3 patients’ condition out of 602 being treated in clinics, is assessed as serious.
The situation remains difficult. 39 cases were detected among the population yesterday. If the situation continues in the same way, quarantine requirements will be tightened.
