Official Statement: 511 patients are being treated for COVID-19
More than 42 thousand citizens are under quarantine.
Head of the State Inspection of Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chief Sanitary Inspector of the country Nurmat Otabekov notes:
– The number of coronavirus infected in Uzbekistan has reached 2509 people. 1988 people have already recovered. This is 80 percent of total number of cases. Six patients’ condition out of 511 being treated in clinics is serious. More than 42 thousand citizens are under quarantine.
Quarantine measures continue. We must remember not to allow new outbreaks of the disease! If we allow this, further measures will be tougher.
