Head of the State Inspection of Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance under the Cabinet of Ministers, Chief State Sanitary Inspector of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nurmat Otabekov:
– The number of people infected with coronavirus in Uzbekistan has reached 4819.
3637 (75%) patients have fully recovered.
According to the Ministry of Health, 1163 patients are being treated in hospitals, 12 patients’ condition is serious, and two’s is critical.
The epidemiological situation in the country remains serious. 66 new cases were registered among quarantined people, five in Syrdarya and Bukhara regions, and two in Samarkand region.
