The Constitution guarantees the freedom of the media, including freedom of searching, obtaining, using and disseminating information.
Obstructing or interfering with the activities of the media, journalists bringing the voice and thoughts of the people to the discussion of the general public, state bodies may result in liability. This rule is fixed in the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
