Long-term observers from Ireland and Russia Andrew Richardson and Vsevolod Perevozchikov visited the 8th Syrdarya District Commission for holding the referendum of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the District Commission P.Akhmedjanova, Deputy Chairman of the Commission S.Sattorov, Secretary of the Commission N.Kholbayeva.

The observers got acquainted with the activities of the District Commission, the process related to the preparation and conduction of the referendum, the amendments to the Constitution, the conditions created for citizens to participate in voting, and received detailed answers to questions about the activities of the press center.
