Israel hosted Tel Aviv Grand Slam Tournament with a total prize fund of $154,000.

It was attended by about 300 athletes from 40 countries. Almost all of the 9 athletes from Uzbekistan finished in the top ten. 

Uzbekistan national team member Obidkhon Nomonov became a silver medalist on the second day of the tournament.
