The 60th meeting of the CIS Electric Power Council kicked off in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, on July 14.

Uzbekistan delegation is represented by the Chairman of the Board of JSC National Electric Grids of Uzbekistan D. Isakulov.

President of the CIS Electric Power Council, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation N. Shulginov addressed the meeting.

The participants are discussing the issues of interaction between agencies and enterprises of electrical grids of the CIS countries, the impact of renewable energy sources on the overall system, the development of the low-carbon electric power industry, and the introduction of innovative technologies in the sphere.
