Nur-Sultan hosts a meeting of Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan Business Council
The fourth meeting of Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan Business Council is being held in Nur-Sultan.
At the meeting, the parties are discussing issues of mutual interest, such as logistics, reduction of prices for transit, certification, reduction of prices for raw materials. Prospects for the exchange of experience in doing business in neighboring countries, increasing export potential, the development of cooperation in information technology are also on the agenda.
B2B meetings are also being held to establish and strengthen business contacts.
The trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan has doubled over the past five years and now amounts to $2.9 billion. By the end of this year, the figure is expected to reach $4 billion.
