Nukus hosted an International Conference dedicated to the 900th anniversary of Suleiman Bakirgani.

It was attended by historians, archaeologists from research institutes and universities of Australia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as literary scholars and media representatives.

On the first day of the conference, the participants visited the place of worship of Suleiman Bakirgani in Muynak district, got acquainted with landscaping work, and archaeological research. On the second day, reports were heard about the life and work of the great thinker.
