The Development Strategy Center of Uzbekistan organized a presentation for trainees of the Pakistan National School of Public Policy on the results of the reforms implemented as part of the Action Strategy in Uzbekistan, as well as the essence and significance of the goals provided for in the Development Strategy of the new Uzbekistan for 2022-2026.
Executive Director of the Development Strategy Center Eldor Tulyakov noted that over the past five years, Uzbekistan has achieved sustainable growth rates in each of the areas identified in the Action Strategy.
At the meeting, attention was also drawn to the fact that the main priority in the foreign policy of Uzbekistan is the consistent continuation of an open, pragmatic and active foreign policy, the establishment of large-scale trade and economic ties not only between the states of Central Asia, but also between the states of other regions and international organizations.
In the Development Strategy, the people’s reforms initiated under the Action Strategy will be continued. The document includes seven directions, development for the next five years. It is planned to further strengthen ties in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres with the countries of South Asia, the Asia-Pacific region, the CIS, the European Union and the United States, the states of the Middle East and Africa.
The participants discussed issues related to the further development of friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.
