Uzbekistan’s Nigina Abduraimova takes part in the Australian Open.

She started the first stage of the qualifying competition with a victory. Nigina Abduraimova won Laura Pigossi from Brazil with a 7:5, 5:7, 0:6 score.

In the second round, Nigina Abduraimova will take to the court against Czech tennis player Dominika Šalková. In the world ranking, Uzbekistan’s athlete is in 212th place, and D. Šalková is 218th.
