Today’s Uzbekistan is not the same as it was six or seven years ago. This is recognized not only in our country, but also in the world community. During the International Partnership Initiatives Week “New Uzbekistan: Development, Innovation and Enlightenment” held in the capital, attention is paid to precisely these aspects.
More than 450 statesmen, politicians, scientists, representatives of big business, experts, senior officials of embassies, and international organizations from more than 60 countries participate in this educational project, which attracts the attention of the world community.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sodiq Safoyev noted that the transformations taking place in Uzbekistan affect domestic and foreign policy, economy, industry, social sphere, culture and art, science, and innovation. At the same time, the main goal of these positive transformations is to honor a person’s dignity and ensure the priority of his rights and interests.
The main goal of the International Partnership Initiatives Week is the exchange of views between foreign and domestic experts, analysts, scientists, and politicians about democratic reforms in New Uzbekistan, their essence, achievements, and immediate tasks, about a completely new social economic, political, legal, spiritual and educational space, priority areas of the country’s foreign and domestic policy.
The issues of deepening democratic reforms, forming a welfare state, developing civil society, and others were discussed at the International Conference “Renewed Constitution: Legal Basis for Reforms”.
