During the visit of a delegation of Fergana region officials and entrepreneurs to Japan, agreements were reached on several investment projects.
Dozens of Japanese companies are ready to move on to the practical stage of placing their projects in the Japanese Industrial Technopark, which is being created in Kokand Free Economic Zone.
In addition to the investment forum held in Tokyo with the participation of business circles of Fergana region and Japan, talks were also held with the heads of several companies.
The issue of implementing a project for growing and harvesting high-yielding and high-quality seeds of crops in the region was discussed at a meeting with the leadership of the Takii Seed company. The enterprise is planned to be organized in Rishtan district and grow seeds of crops there.
The proposal of the Deputy Hokim of the region Iqboljon Ergashev to open a branch of the enterprise in Kuva district, where floriculture is widely developed, also aroused general interest.
A meeting was also held with representatives of the major Japanese brand Daiso on constructing shopping centers in Fergana.
Talks were also held with representatives of Meiji Seyaku for the production of vitamins and pharmaceutical products, Sakura Tec for the production of metal products for construction, Kaneko for wood processing for housing construction, NIOC for the production of automotive oils and chemical detergents, and Japan DX & Polaris Logistics for the provision of transport and logistics services between Japan, Central Asia, and Europe.
