The National Center for Human Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan has organized international events timed to December 10 – International Human Rights Day.
NCHR awarded Digital Economy, Education and Research in Human Rights competition winners, presented new publications on human rights, and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with a similar institution of Malaysia.
The competition which was held in 12 categories, received 70 entries. It presented websites, info graphics, videos, tutorials, educational literature, and articles on human rights. All participants were awarded with prizes and certificates from NCHR and OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan.

Publications of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Law “On the rights of persons with disabilities” in Braille were also presented at the event.
The signing ceremony of Cooperation Memorandum was preceded by numerous meetings and consultations within the framework of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Samarkand Forum on Human Rights.
